Patrick Roger has created elephants to be placed in the windows of his boutiques, to act as guardians and defenders of the principle of flavour.
Maybe one day ‘flavour’ will come in boxes, completely sanitized and devoid of all scent. Maybe flavour simply won’t exist anymore.
Patrick Roger’s defence of flavour now has a new symbol: the tusks of his elephants.
Following the success of his 2008 work on bears threatened with extinction, Patrick Roger has decided to pay tribute to elephants, symbols of wisdom and kindness.
